ICORR 2011 will bring together leading engineers, scientists and clinicians in the field of rehabilitation robotics. A special focus will be on clinical evaluation and promoting interaction between engineers, clinicians and therapists, including patient and caregiver testimonials. Further themes will include, among others, robotic therapy vs. traditional therapy, present challenges and chances of technology transfer projects, assessment tools, underestimated role in rehabilitation
