With budgets across the public sector in a period of exceptional constraint, this seminar will look at ways government and other public bodies can make efficiency savings. The event will look at the challenges of increasing co-operation between different public bodies as well as private and third sector organisations to deliver more cost-effective services, how government can use its size and purchasing power to improve the deal it gets from its suppliers, and options for the public sector to capitalise on its innovation and leadership to generate new and efficient ways of working.
