International Symposium on Spine and Paravertebral Sonography for Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine 2010

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee it is my honor and privilege to invite you to participate in the International Symposium on Spine and Paravertebral Sonography for Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine 2010, which will be held in Hong Kong from the 28-30th March 2010. As you may be aware the issps2009 was recently held in Hong Kong and it was very well received by participants from around the world and they also found the educational program of this one of a kind event very rewarding. For the upcoming issps2010 we have put together a scientific program that is not only interesting but also thought provoking with special emphasis on cutting edge applications of ultrasound for Paediatric Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine. Opinion leaders, from overseas and locally, will deliver and exchange experience and scientific knowledge in this state of the art field of anaesthesia and pain medicine.

I sincerely hope the symposium will be a forum for communications between colleagues and experts alike and for the dissemination of new knowledge and technology that will eventually benefit our patients. Also in keeping with Asian tradition a number of interesting social events are being planned for the symposium. I also welcome you to experience Hong Kong which is a city of diversity, a city of life, a sophisticated fusion of the east and the west and more importantly a city of culture and heritage where the old and the new live side by side in perfect harmony. I welcome you to discover the diversity and experience what is Hong Kong.
