12th KFAFH Cardiovascular Conference: A balanced approach to treatment of cardiovascular diseases 2010

  • 24-25 Mar 2010
  • InterContinental Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Description

The 12th international cardiac symposium organised by the King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah is one of the longest running international cardiac meetings in Saudi Arabia.  This year we believe we have selected a topic that is both timely and relevant to all practising cardiologists and cardiac surgeons and that is the SYNTAX Trial and its implications for both cardiologists and cardiac surgeons.

We are delighted that two leading experts and primary investigators in the SYNTAX trial Dr. Kappatein (cardiac surgeon Thoraxcenter, Rotterdam, Netherlands) & Dr. Stefan Windecker (interventional cardiologist University Hospital, Berne, Switzerland) have accepted our invitation to discuss in detail the results of SYNTAX and how they believe it will apply to day to day practice of both cardiologists and surgeons.

In addition to having an opportunity to discuss your questions regarding SYNTAX trial and its application to the Saudi population , selected case studies will be presented to allow an interactive discussion with both our guests as well as local experts.

We truly believe this meeting and its format will give you a unique opportunity to keep abreast of the most topical subject in clinical cardiology today
