MUSIAD, the Independent Industrialists & Businessmen s Association, is glad to announce that the forthcoming 13th MUSIAD International Trade Fair will take place between 7 and 10 October 2010, in Istanbul Fair Center, Yesilkoy-Istanbul. MUSIAD International Trade Fairs promise to give the indispensable means of increasing sales, expanding to the promising markets. At the current global conjuncture, Turkiye has been playing crucial role within the scope of reconstruction of the Middle East, international politics and diplomacy, and sustaining the peace. Turkiye has perpetuated its strategic importance globally through its Non Permanent Membership of UN Security Council, its assertive foreign policy, fast growing market. From the point of view of business world, Turkiye is the most attractive country for foreign investments with a cumulative GDP increase, a population of over 70 million with an average age of 28.5, qualified and cost-effective labor force, an important energy terminal and corridor in Europe, liberal and reformist investment climate, highly competitive market conditions, dynamic and mature private sector. Turkiye is in a strategic location with access to Europe, Eastern-Europe, Middle-East, Central Asia and Northern Africa, and with having been included in the list of top emerging markets,- buttressed with good infrastructure perfect to be a hub, abundant natural and human resources. In this framework, MUSIAD is a leading association that contributes 15 % of Turkey s GDP with 4.700 members and over 12.000 member companies. MUSIAD offers major activities such as organizing trade delegation visits to foreign countries, organizing international trade fair bi-annually, hosting the headquarters of and contributing to IBF-International Business Forum, publishing country and sector reports and researches for its members, carrying out publishing studies on various economic and social issues, disseminating information via publications, website portals, networking its members among themselves and with overseas companies via several activities and providing education and professional seminars to enhance the competitiveness of its members so as to contribute the development of new markets and business opportunities. In the last session, MUSIAD International Trade Fair had more than 130.000 visitors along with 74 exhibitors from 22 countries & 2.224 visitors from 62 different countries. On the trade side, the 2008 session generated millions of dollars of trade deals among businessmen.
