The Communication engineering and signal processing techniques are getting wider spectrum of importance in academic as well as commercial aspects. Research activities in these areas are having high potential in the economic growth and nation building. Due to the availability of ultra large scale integrated circuits, monolithic microwave integrated circuits, high level of computational techniques and embedded technologies are paving the way for the development of new high efficient communication systems for critical applications like aerospace, defense, satellite, launch vehicles, mobile devices and heavy industries. System integration and automation are the main areas where communication systems and signal processing techniques are in need.

Latest developments in the millimeter wave technology further improve the system design aspects in finer way due to its accuracy and performance. Mechanical systems used for manufacturing industries also transformed drastically due to the integration of high class instrumentation devices and controls coupled with modern communication and signal processing systems.

In view of these developments, it is necessary to showcase the minute developments and research outcome of the activities conducted in every domain by the academic communities and industrial forums.
