2nd PoweredByCloud conference and CloudLaw summit 2010

  • 08-10 Feb 2010
  • America Square Conference Centre, London, United Kingdom

Description

PoweredByCloud was the first major cloud computing conference to take place outside the US. Although other events have subsequently taken place, this year`s conference will confirm the event as the Market Leader for business leaders and strategists in the space. Technology buyers and media from across Europe, the Middle East and Asia -- not just on the consumer side but also on the enterprise side -- are likely to be represented in force. If your company is serious about communicating with the paying early adopters in cloud, then our 2010 event is likely to be the best venue to do that.

Two big themes are emerging for debate at the 2010 PoweredByCloud conference: the business and technological case for Private Cloud and the growth and implications of Mobile Cloud services.

This occurs as Cloud shifts from early adopters towards mainstream markets and product packages designed for large enterprises promote the concept of Private Cloud. The shift is discernible shift from a Cloud Pitched by outsiders, to one promoted by insiders. The shift is gamechanging and demands rigorous strategies to exploit market lift-off.

Cloud players are also more readily signing up to the Profit Opportunity which has not yet been realised.

With much in play, the 2nd Powered by Cloud will bring a further strongly focused knowledge rich forum for senior executives.

As Cloud Computing is commercialized, a number of concerns and risks associated with the technology and the services deployed, and legal questions relating to privacy, security, the European Union Data Protection Directive, implications of the US Patriot Act, internet geography and compliance mechanisms to name but a few, are becoming increasingly apparent.
