Food & Beverage (F&B) is a huge industry chain, from Field to the Dining Table . Every process of the food chain relates to the health and safety of human beings. With the incidents such as Sudan and Melamine occurring, the safety of the foods rings the alarm again. The misuse of antibiotic in agriculture, the weakness of traceability in the dairy producing, and the inadequate on monitoring the end of F&B are all the hidden troubles in food safety. It is not only the hard work of government, but also the responsibility of each F&B company and supplier. There are more works to do in R&D, purchasing, production, supply chain, quality control and so on.

On the one hand, food security risks are reported after having accidents, on the other hand food exports are restricted due to the unfamiliar foreign regulations and standards. Therefore the most concerning problems become the regulations and standards at home and abroad, and the actions and implementations from regulatory authorities.
