The future of forestry and forest science conference A conference celebrating the centenary of forestry education in Australia
Forest science and forestry education has undergone considerable change in its 100 year history in Australia. The challenges facing forest science and management will be very different in the next 100 years to those when forestry education in Australia was established. It is timely to reflect on the development of these disciplines and to discuss the future prospects for forest science and education to meet the needs of future generations in a rapidly changing world.
The aim of this conference is to bring together a diverse audience to present views on the future prospects and needs for forest science and professional forest education in the 21st Century.
