This seminar is supported by AstraZeneca

This timely seminar will look at the Coalition Government`s White Paper Equity and excellence: Liberating the NHS and what this will mean for the future of health services in England. The agenda includes discussion on the radical overhaul of the way services will be provided in England proposed in the White Paper, with commissioning being put in the hands of GPs, and a move away from targets toward a focus on clinical outcomes. Planned sessions focus on the challenges and opportunities facing GPs; what effect the plans would have on the patient experience and the role of the NHS Commissioning Board and HealthWatch.

Rt Hon Stephen Dorrell MP, Chair, Health Select Committee and former Secretary of State for Health has kindly agreed to chair this event.
