The department derives its mission from the Cleveland Clinic`s founding mission "to provide better care of the sick, investigation of their problems, and further education of those who serve." Cleveland Clinic Florida is dedicated to advancing medical knowledge through continuing education. The purpose of the continuing medical education program is to provide educational opportunities of a high quality and a wide variety to physicians, nurses, and to other healthcare professionals. Our mission is to develop educational programs of an appropriate scope and depth to satisfy the needs for knowledge and skill development, which participants wish to acquire, develop or reinforce.
