As doubts persist about the causes and future impact of climate change, this seminar will explore how government and the scientific community can foster better engagement with the public on issues around climate change. Timed to coincide with the build-up to the next key United Nations climate change summit in Mexico, the seminar will also examine what is likely to be achieved at this set of discussions - particularly with reference to the global public perception of climate change. We also expect discussion on how dialogue and coordination on climate change can be improved between government and the private sector in the development and implementation of climate change policy.
