Addictions are prevalent across all sections of society and can take multifarious forms. APBAM’s mission is to give professionals and volunteers working with addictions and other behavioural challenges the opportunity to learn from leaders in the field, both locally and abroad. Our aim is to give conference participants new insights and the tools to be effective agents of change.
Our theme for this year’s conference is ‘Repurposing the Wheel’; applying existing psychological and behavioural techniques and evidence based skills to addictions in pioneering ways. We shall also explore novel means of dealing with age-old behavioural challenges faced by practitioners.
